Seeking Him in the Quiet

Day 13photo by Rick Waalders

“The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.” Zephaniah 3:17

These past few days of focusing on God’s creative attributes in His people and rediscovering our gifts through living with less noise has given me a desire to seek God more, what about you?

Here are some verses for you to meditate on and hopefully to help prepare you to seek after God a little more this week.

2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

Jeremiah 29:13-14a “You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you, declares the Lord,”

Matthew 7:7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”

Hebrews 11:6 “And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.”

Ephesians 2:8-10 “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

And my favorite worship song that could be on repeat all day long…
